It is old news really. I posted Dyno charts for before/after when I installed my RapiBike O2 modulator. It is slightly more expensive, but also takes signal from the TPS (don't know if it makes a difference or if it is actually used for anything). As reported before, this mod works really well and is easy to install.

Slight hijack: where can you find the manufacturer and distributors of the GPR Power Jet in the USA? Also, anyone know if Power Commander has been set up for the DD?

I have used both the PCIIIusb and PCV from the Tuono on the DD, it requires patience and being able to work without instructions. You still have to get af/r basically right via return signal resistance/voltage modification before it will really accept trims without the bikes ecu fighting the trims being applied by the PC. It is an odd duck to tune for sure.

Is the Fatduc plug and play on the Aprilias like it is on the Ducatis? Or does it have to be cut and spliced in? I may give it a go either way, but need to know what I am in for, since the bike is my daily rider to work.

How does it affect the twitchiness in Sport Mode?

This in NO WAY effects the speed of the throttles opening, just gets fueling closer to right. In theory a littler richer fueling in the transition area between closed and open throttle should smooth things out, in practice this is a RBW bike so not all variables are rider/tuner controlled.

Just found this product for BMW. Would it be adaptable to a Shiver or DD:
    http://www.boosterplug.com/shop/cms-21.html

And a full explanation of different system + the effect of the product on the bike:

The resistor is put in between the Air Intake Temperature sensor and the ECU, which is said to work, but needs adjustments when the ambient temps change by a lot. In the linked version a thermistor is used, which changes its resistance depending on ambient temperature. It is one step up from simply putting in a resistor. The solution Micah is proposing puts the resistor into the O2 sensor loop and it said to work much better, maybe because it is not temperature dependent. I have not done either yet myself.

Hopefully this will help, I tried the ECu unleashed flashed to my ecu(they said they could do it) and they changed the map, but could never get the bike running right, and they tried 3 different modified maps on it but could never get around the errors coming up on the dash and never ran smooth. so i got my money back.
