Thanks.... I'm just starting to work .... missing the good brake calipers but the Brembo are too expensive. I'm collecting information on these:

Thanks. 75 hp is not a utopia. I use it on mountain roads, the straightaways are few and are short so the power is not essential.

Don't buy Chinese brakes....too dodgy by far.

These aren't the sort of parts that will strand you beside the road if they fail - they'll kill you.

Pay your $ and get proper parts for the most essential safety equipment. Vanity / cosmetic stuff, whatever - but for god's sake, don't mess with the brakes !

Thanks for the suggestion. Have you tried this brand (Frando)?

I live in HK and ride at the nearby track in China. There are loads of parts like this around up there.

I haven't tried them myself, but I've known others who have had issues with locally (Chinese) made brake components. Not necessarily this exact brand mind you; I don't want to rubbish anyone's reputation so won't say any more.

That said, I have personally had a Chinese-made handlebar snap off in my hand ! Thank God I was luckily at standstill, while checking front sag on my ZX-10R trackbike. The Right hand side one. Jeeeeeeesus Christ !!!

In China there are many good quality products. The problem is figuring out what they are.
The Frando company is certified ISO 9001:2000, if it is true....
To my scooter I bought a Frando HF1 but I have not yet proven, it is aesthetically outstanding.
