Malaguti Firefox upgrade questions

Hello everyone, this seems like a great forum.

I had a question I hoped someone could help me with. I have a Malaguti Firefox LC and put a Metrakit 70cc kit on the bike. I had a doppler pipe that I think is a 50cc pipe as it never fit on the cylinder at all. I am not an expert at scooters in any way but I want to get the best pipe to fit on this Metrakit that I have installed without modding the pipe in any way. Is there a Metrakit 70cc pipe that works well with it? Any suggestions? Thanks a lot, I live in the USA and would love to hear any suggestions or other things I can do with the scooter as it is my favorite bike. With the current setup I could hit about 70mph.

Sounds like you just have the wrong exhaust inteneded for a different engine. Metrakit is a low end kit. All you need is a sport exhaust, any should work.

the best pipe that will fit the metrakit 70cc engine is the metrakit sp reverse awsome performance but it makes lots of noise

I also like to use the same exhaust manufacture as the cylinder if the setup allows for it.

Do you know any way I can buy one of those Metrakit SP reverse pipes for my firefox? I can't find any websites selling it especially since Metrakit doesn't have a website in the US anymore. Thanks

So this is actually the kit that I have from Metraki, so I think it is a pro race 70cc kit, anyone know what pipe I could get that I wouldnt need to modify? Thanks. Its called Metrakit Pro Race 2

Any sport exhaust that is designed for your case will work. You will probably need to derestrict the exhaust when you get it. This is normal.
