Hi I have the full Akrapovic exaust system on my bike. Very happy with it but wish it was just a little more noisier. Anyone got any cheap solutions. Could i fill in some of the holes in the baffle tube or use different sound packing material Cheers

The best thing to do is, go to the link pipe, undo the springs on both sides, and remove the two mufflers all together.......

Just a question, how many miles have you put on the system?
In not very many dont worry a bit. You have to break em in , good hot and long rides do wonders.My HARRIS system was real dissapointing when I put it on, but a few thousand miles later and wahmm it rocked. It keeps getting better and better too.

You should have orded the Tigs! Just kidding man the Akra's are great pipes you don't think they are loud until you let somebody ride your bike. I finally rode my bike without earplugs yesterday and holly crap the Tigs are so Loud. My buddy just got pulled over on his RC-51 for his exhaust being to loud so I don't know if loud is a good thing.
And doesn't that suck. I think about that very thing whenever I have the misfortune of hearing a pack of HD's with their straight pipes and no muffler whatsoever. Where are the sound police then?Originally posted by Italibikefreak

I agree, when I first got my Akra's, they were a lil on the quiet side, but after a few k miles, there just right, and hav'nt had any coper issues as of yet, better not, them dam unmuffeled harly's are freakin loud.

I never see then pulled up, only sports bike riders .. and some of those Harley guys have straight thru pipes!
You have obviously shelled out big time so you won't want to look at other exhaust systems. I've just ridden back from Renegade with their air kit installed and the induction noise is deep and spine-tingly . Gorgeous. I have Sport Tigs which are plenty loud for me and the induction howl is now at least as pleasing . Check out www.renegade-products.com .
