Well it's sort of good news , I walked away just bruised and sore, was testing the RAV4 at Sentul today and I grabbed the brakes at the end of the front straight 6 th gear flat out and nothing , I got on the rear brake and tried going down the box the rear end started swapping side I got into the gravel , for a second I thought maybe I can save this :-) then it high sided me into orbit , I crossed my arm over my chest and tucked up landing on my right side as I was rolling I could see the bike cart wheeling through the gravel :-(
All still intact but one could say a wee sore as I was doing around 250+ at the 200 meter mark , so I think I got away with it pretty good :-) fairings are fucked ,tank, frame, engine, akra and Link pipe covered in pit marks from the gravel and it's on both sides , looks like a lot of polishing for me
Any way I got another set of fairing mounted up fixed the brake and was out for another 2 sessions this afternoon , bike was running sweet

Good day indeed to walk away from that. Bruises suck, but temporary. Heal up quick. I hate working on crashed bike; makes you go through all that again. Any idea why the brakes failed?

the master cylinder moved and when i pulled the leaver it fowled on the 90 degree bend where the cables come out , so matter how hard i pulled the lever there was zero brake and at those speed you only get to try and pump it up once or twice and that didn't work so it was gravel trap for me and my impression of a flying man

remember Casey's incident at Motegei coming over a rise? Glad you are lucky and OK. So you got back on the bike, eh? You are in the club, the club of being dangerous to yourself! Same thing happened to me in a race, but there was no riding that thing with twisted forks afterwards. End of day.
