Aprilia Tuono V4 R engine oil question

What is the correct engine oil for this bike: 5W40 or 15W50? I've read in the service manual that it's 5W40 (AF1 sell this oil for the bike as well), but my dealer insists, it should be 15W50. He said, that he called Aprilia and they confirmed it's 15W50. BTW, I'm in Canada, if that matters. Thanks!

In Australia its 5w40 for the APRC model. Think it might be 15W50 for non APRC, could be wrong about that though

5w40 for all 2011 and up v4 models. 2010 took 15w50

I've just had an oil change in mine in the Uk, they put Silkolene 10w40 in. When I questioned him he called Aprilia UK and the guy confirmed that's fine in the Uk.

Mines got 5w40 in it, no idea what brand - came out of a large barrel.

I use Silkolene 5W40, would rather use Motul 300V but it's 10W40
