The USA side stand is probably the first stock item into the dumpster for most Caponord owners. Replace it with the Euro stand. Available through Aprilia dealers.Originally Posted by Thunderr

Clarification, if needed: The "Euro" one is arrow-straight. The one fitted to USA models was, inexplicably, in the shape of a dogleg.

Yep John done the same to mine stands up better and doesn't fall over in soft ground, i just used a large steel washer.
