I've only had this bike for about a week now and it just sprung a fuel leak in between the tank and pump. The O-ring is still good it seems it is leaking between a couple of the mounting bolts as the mounting serface has slightly warped. Has anybody had this problem and if so how did you fix it.
Had this happen to me last summer. Cleaned everything, replaced gasket etc. The culprit ended up being a gap between the metal "nut" and the plastic tank. I assume this was due to overtightening, but I never took the pump off before this starting so I don't know. I got a larger tank so I haven't gotten around to fixing it, but I think I'm going to either fill with epoxy or do some zip tie "welding" to close the gap. Would be nice to have a spare tank for racing.
