yes it was all built for the track , they worked on it last week fitting bazzaz then i had them remove it , seams the master cylinder was just a little loose and rotated and when i pulled the lever it jammed again the 90 degree bend in the throttle cable , i tried to pump them but lever was solid when i pulled so just kept squeezing but the throttle cable wouldn't let the lever come it at all so zero brakes , not a lot of fun at those speeds but shit happens , no point getting upset about it as it is just a bike ill fix it and get back out there next weekend .

i got 2 session this after noon after we straightened it all up and fitted spare fairings and it was running really nice with the new gearing and race ecu so ill be out next weekend for some more testing . fairing where dropped off tonight for repairs and painting so it will be pretty again soon

Hope you're doing ok. Luckily the bike is still rideable after such a crash...

damn that sucks, glad that it turned out relatively ok.
As strange as it sounds i think you're actually lucky you got the bike to crash and it didnt slam straight into whatever barrier was at the end of the straight. Had a friend have a similar situation and he bailed at 240ish, the bike went into the tyre wall about 4 tyres deep and came back in a couple of boxes.

All new aprilia for 2013. Biaggi let the cat out the bag on that one.

If i was buying another bike this year and not sure on what i would be very keen to see what aprilia bring to the Panigale fight as they have had a few years to develop something very special...IMO

All i'll say is i just got off riding the 1199s around the track and you owe it to yourself to wait and ride it.
