Fuel offset and Idle CO adjustment question (XV Tuner cable)

07 sxv 5.5, loaded Alice non solenoid map.(that was a breeze, no issues there) Is it possible to adjust idle CO and fuel offset on Alice Map? When I hit the increase/decrease button nothing happens. Am I doing it wrong? Have track day coming soon and need to be sure I can make adjustments between sessions.

On another note; does this map reduce engine backpressure as Stuart described in another thread? I have not ridden bike since loading map. Dont want to run off the track on my first lap...lol

You can change the CO and Fuel offset on those maps. Try closing the XV tuner program and then reconnecting to the ECU. The Alice maps have less engine braking, but I'm sure you'll figure it out before you end up in the grass.

I had the same problem spencer - I wasn't able to adjust my fuel offset, I was also running the Alice non-solenoid map. Was just about to investigate further but then someone stole my bike so never got to the bottom of it. Would be good to know if you find the source of the problem.

I have loaded the SXV 550 Alice non-sol map into three different ECUs without problem.... fuel offset and idle co both adjusted...

I havent had a chance to try anything since posting this. Prior when I connected the cable it says something about CO being out of parameters (dont remember exact wording) Says this can happen if tuned with tuneboy. I've owned the bike since new and our resident Guru Allen has done all the tuning, never has it had a tuneboy connected. Wonder if I click "restore default" upon first connection if it will allow changes to CO and fuel offset?

    Your thoughts?

Thanks for the replies thus far, appreciate your help!

If its giving you the out of range message, yes that should do the trick and set the value to zero. Didn't catch the fact that you got the out of range message earlier.

Update: After clicking "restore defaults" upon connecting the cable the values are adjustable. Thanks for your help!
