    considering the APRC

I am considering replacing my 05 Repsol Edition CBR with a new RSV4, it would serve as a track day and daily rider. i have plenty of experience street and track. If you are familiar with TWS near College Station Texas I run consistant 2min laps and dip under a little on occasion. I would like some input on the Sachs suspension quality and the DTC's sensativity to tire choice and any other info owners would like to share. Thanks for y'alls time and input. I have been reading thru the threads but sometimes a thread is not indicative of ownership experience.

I'm in a similar boat to you guys...I just sold my 2001 Aprilia RSV-R, and am using my 2001 GSXR1000 heavily modded for track days. Was interested in picking up a 'current generation' superbike mainly for track day fun--was deciding between the current crop of bikes: RSV-4 APRC or Panigale (?S or base) or BMW S1000rr.

Had a chance to demo the Panigale on the street for about 15min., nothing too spirited. Initial impressions were that the seat got very warm, the bike seems to turn quickly, riding position is comfortable (compared to prior ducati's that I've ridden/owned, like the 916). I couldn't judge power delivery as the bike's electronics were in fully nanny mode.

Also demo'd the BMW at a local race track for about 5 laps--and it was awesome. Seamless smooth power, fairly quick turning (at least compared to my 2001 GSXR), good brakes, good stability. Easy to go fast was my initial impression.

No chance to ride a RSV4 locally, but have read some of the online stuff that gives it high marks for handling...
