hello everyone...need some help..i just bought a used 2009 sr5o ditech has 2000 miles on it..it was not running when i bought it but when i changed the spark plug it runs now..i used it going to work aproxx 22 miles a day..it runs well but it sputters. until one day when im going to work about 7 miles away from my house, the scooter acts different..when i was on a stop light it revs high and suddenly the service light is on and the engine dies.i cranked it up and it starts and drive again..after 2 or 3 miles it happen again..i was crusin around 40-45mph...here are the things i did to my sr50 so far..took out the spacer on the pulley and the one that is in the intake port..i dnt know if the ecu is derestricted,rpm stays on 8000 on flat and 9000 on downhill..45mph on flat 57 on downhill..evrything is stock..

You need to install a Water Trap first. then Get the ECU de restricted it is most likely not de restricted and there is no way of knowing without having it done again. Also installing a NGK ZMR7AP Spark Plug Helps a ton.
