Statistically the number will be a tiny percentage compared to deaths from head injuries amongst motorcyclists. I don't need to look up actual figures. That has always been, and always will be the case.
While I understand your point it seems that taken to an extreme the state could just decide to ban motorcycles altogether. Of course that is not going to happen, but don't kid yourself that there aren't memebers of society who would be happy to see that happen. Where personal safety is concerned we have little option but to allow the legislature to draw the line between what is acceptable and what is not. This a neccessary evil and is not limited the the world of motorcycling.
