5 Years.....reflecting.

It is coming up to the 5 year anniversary that I have had my 2007 Tuono. I still find myself standing in the garage on rainy days just to look and admire the bike. To still have such an appeal to me after five years I can only say "Thank you Aprilia for making such a sexy ride".

Could not agree more, W....5 years next month and still have a deep appreciation for the visual lines and engineering on display. 24k in 5 years isn't breaking any records, but this machine has been trouble free and still delivers a satisfaction other machines fail to match.

I've not owned any bike longer than 16 months but the T will almost certainly break that record (at 10 mos & counting).

I really miss mine. I only sold it because I'd gone over 20000 km and thought it was time to sell before it dropped too much more in value. Bought an 03 RSVR Factory - now gone too.
In hindsight, and after 31 bikes, it's been by far my favourite. Plenty of power, great handling and note with cored pipes, and the best ever at my favourite activity - wheelies! I'll get another when I can or save a bit longer for the V4 Tuono.

I've had mine now for a little over 2 years and 10,000 miles. I wanted one since the '07 came out but never could pull the trigger until I found a leftover really cheap. I've got a Multistrada 1200 in the garage also but, when I really want to burn off some stress, the Tuono get's the call.It took a couple of try's to sort out the rear brake and they did have to put a tank on it because one of the nuts that hold the side panel on stripped out (Under warranty). Other than that, it's been trouble free.

Yep, 5 years comming up for me too. Its my first bike so I don't have anything to measure it against, but it has been trouble free fun for these 5 years.

This is my second Aprilia and I have loved every mile. The Harley really hones my love for the Aprilia. I will take the wife for a nice ride on the Harley, jump on the Aprilia and say to myself, “Holy shit, this is what it’s all about!”

Nicely stated wavz. 5 years here also, with not a lick of trouble. Not a ton of miles but 25,000 of pure joy every time you throw a leg over.

Not a lot of miles on mine at only 18k but the last two years have seen far less miles than I would like for reasons beyond my control. I do make up for it with an occasional track day. Luckily this year looks like I'll see more time in the seat.

I love firing this thing up in the morning heading to work. You can feel it vibrate the pavement under your feet, and I grin every time.
