Coolant need advice

I'm at 13K miles and I want to do a coolant flush this weekend. Is there a coolant that I can buy locally that will be good for my Tuono? I can't see the logic in buying and shipping water as in the premixed specialty coolant. Our V990's can't be much different than a late model aluminum block auto. But, please correct me if I'm wrong. Opinions also welcomed.

I've been searching for a coolant "How to" and can't seem to find it. Any links would be appreciated.

Coolanol is widely available and works well.

From the owner's manual:

Coolant .................................................. ............0.58 US Gallon (2.2 b ) (50% water + 50% antifreeze with ethylene glycol)

i spent alot of time looking for this topic.... this is all i found....... i did this and got out almost all the coolant just not what was in the thermostat.

I run Walmarts Super Tech coolant in everything I own. Less than $10 a gallon. I've been using this stuff for many many years and have NEVER had a problem. Fully compatible with all metals and other coolants.
