MXV for sale! With 5 speed conversion and Cal engine

Hi guys, I've only just joined here so let me know if I've done anything wrong! Have been a member of Supermoto forum UK for a while, and have been told about this site, as my MXV450 is now for sale. I'll try and copy/paste the advert from the supermoto forum below. If that doesn't work, the link for the ad is

    http://www.supermotoforum.co.uk/show...a-MXV-for-sale!

Well, I can't make it to the Forum Flid Fest this year, and the rest of the year is going to be taken up with my 3 kids that have decided that they want to race MX (Matt's raced for a while, but the others have never been interested) so the MXV may aswell go to someone that will use it, rather than it sit there getting dusty.........
I bought it brand new, and it's only done 15 hours, so everything is still like new (had an hour meter fitted from new) - Road registered on an '11 plate (registered as new and unused in March 2011)
I used it an run it in while it was in MX trim, then at 8 hours I sent it to Cal to have the engine taken apart, inspected and fitted with different cams and a 5 speed gearbox (supplied by Alice racing) Cal set it to 'Screamer' mode, fitted a quick shifter and did his usual breather and catch tank mods. Alice then remapped it with their custom race map - all of this cost nearly £4000, but was well woth it as it transformed the standard MXV into a bike with enough power to stay with the SXV550's, but with a much more useable power so you get on the power much earlier than the SXV's

The bike will come in full Supermoto trim, and all the Motocross parts - It has seperate forks/clamps/front brake/handlebars etc so all you have to do is drop the complete front end out and swap over, then change the rear wheel. The motocross parts are still like new also.

    Supermoto spec:

Full Beringer front brake, shortened and setup Pro Action Forks, Talon/Excel wheels, Ice Parts clamps, Acerbis hand guards, Circuit stealth fender, full LR Designs graphics (also on the MX front end)
The bike has just been to Cal's for a complete strip and check over/refresh, so its ready to go with complete piece of mind - anyone that is interested is more than welcome to give Cal a call so he can confirm.

Will be sad to see it go, as it took a lot of time and money to get this bike upto a championship winning standard, but I've hardly used it as it is, and I hate to see it there not getting used.

Price is £7495 and includes SM and MX trim, spare wheels, sprockets and filters. May p/ex with another bike, either a road bike, motocross bike, or supermoto bike of less value (have now got to go and buy another 2 mx bikes for the kids!) Also comes with Aprilia SXV forks that have the Sachs race kit fitted and have been set up by Pro Action - I was going to fit these and use a 4 pot radial caliper, but the 6 pot Beringer is so good and has so much feel I left it on there!

Karl is still sulking because the MXV smoked his VDB when we were on a trackday and no one stood around looking at his VDB because they were all drooling over my bike

It's almost worth keeping, just to annoy him..................
