I'm buying a Haga 03 this weekend used. What to inspect?

I have been on and off this site for a long time and have met some really cool people here. I have owned a Tuono and a 2008 RSV factory. Other then computer stuff I have done all my own maintenance and bought my parts via AF1.

I have never owned a 98-03 Mille and would like a list of some things to look for when inspecting the bike. It has 16,000 miles on it and the pics so far look good.

    Thank you..

At 16k, the bike is broken in. You might want to take a look at the chain, since that's about the most life you can get out of a chain. But the great and secret thing about Rotaxes is they are almost bombproof. More so than the later ones. There are a few things to beware of, for instance sprag clutch failure. But that's a low-mileage bike. A nice collector's item IMHO
