How to watch Moto2, Moto3 and MotoGP live on your TV

I searched and searched but didn't find anyone else posting anything similar. So if this is a re-post, tough.

I only cracked it yesterday, just in time for the races tonight.
What I used:
A Season Pass from MotoGP. Bought one the first year, didn't want to pay for another one until now. 99 Euro
A 2011 Mac Mini running Lion, latest update of course.
AppleTV 3. $99 or 109 Euro.
HDMI cable from AppleTV to Sony 720p flatscreen.
Airport Extreme wi-fi base station.

AirParrot - $9.99 - with the latest update. This is important because the previous version couldn't stream audio. Since my Mac is separated from my TV by a concrete ceiling, a cable was not an option. AirParrot now does stream audio since the update yesterday, works like a charm. The audio on the Mac stops though but that's a minor glitch since the sound is coming from your TV/Home Cinema anyway.

That's all there is to it. I couldn't stream from my iPad 1st generation via AirPlay, most likely because the CPU can't cut it. On the Mac, Flash Player is already running away with 35% of my CPU which is a lot.

AirParrot will be redundant as streaming wirelessly will be included in Mountain Lion which comes out this summer. But for now, I'm glad it works.

Bef I'm on my phone so can't post all the info but all you need is an HDMI to connect your laptop/PC to the TV, then you need to change your IP to an UK one, not too hard, then off to the BBC motoGP page and you watch it all.

All you need to do is:

1. install this: http://expatshield.com/

2. go to http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/motogp/ or to the iplayer page

3. When you are finish go to the taskbar (near the clock), then select the Expat Shield and you can "Disconnect/OFF"

Okay. The problem is, Jose, that that software is for Windoze. All I have are Apple products. And I gave away my Dell laptop. But it's alright, I've got it via MotoGP.

I watched every race last year on an ipad 1, with either the home wireless or a portable 3G WiFi. Watched Qatar, the other day, on a mac mini desktop, I have used the apple TV to Tx to the flatscreen and it works well, but connecting the macbook air to a projector and home made screen 2 metres by 3.5 metres and home theatre sound is awesome! I keep falling backwards off the couch with the headon shots!

But I pay for the annual subscription thru MotoGP. I cannot get cable and Don't want satellite 'cause I don't really watch TV.

What will be interesting will be at Phillip Island in October, watching live with an iPad as well...

I watched it for free on British Eurosport on Sky. I think you can watch it on your PC at a pretty low cost.

It can be watched via Satellite dish too as most BBC channels are FTA. I believe MotoGP is broadcasted by BBC 1 and BBC 4?

If you have a Mac you can use the Stealthy plugin for Firefox instead of Expat. Set GB as the country code for Stealthy in the Stealthy options and turn it on by clicking on the icon in the top right corner of the Firefox window, the icon turns green. As soon as the race starts to play and your IP has been authenticated you can turn off Stealthy by clicking on it again, the icon turns red, to get faster download speeds.
