Was going so well, then I locked the front on a white road marking and it went down on the left.walking speed, no serious injuries,but I broke the gear lever.Has anyone got a spare to sell?

Update,the lefthand radiater is busted.Got the fairing off,access looks limited,having hands the size of a small child may help.

Thanks for that,have seen them.There's a ffirm in Stoke-On-Trent advertise new ones for £99.99 with free postage,I think a new one at that price is worth the extra.The gear lever is more of a problem,ther are none to be had,second hand,even for ready money.A new one is £41+V.A.T+postage which seems a bit rum for 620 grams of ali.

By the sounds of it you have your phone to not show your number and John has his set up not to accept incoming calls that are withheld numbers. Maybe change it at your end and you may get hold of him? Just my thought on it.

Yipee,it's back together,am going out as soon as I've had some nosebag.I would like to meet the designer of the Futura,with its odd sizes fasteners and little clips with captive nuts and shake him warmly by the throat.Not the guy who did the seat tho'.
