Is it a requirement that one must remove their shoes before entering the engine room?

If so, why is that man peeing in there?

It is a requirement to remove dark soled non-boat-specific shoes (riding boots in other words) before setting foot on the boat. The decks are white and mark easily.
But that's OK, bare feet (or sheer stockings.....Bob) are always proper foot attire on a yacht.

Usury is also strongly condemned in many other parts of the Bible. It is difficult to understand how we can class ourselves a Christian and Godly civilization when we pursue as a nation a course such as this. Our banker money system is a GREAT USURY CONSPIRACY. It makes usury an inherent part of our money system. It is economically unsound, and is a wicked, vicious, and defenseless method of exploitation. It is contrary to the laws of reason, to the laws of nature and of God. Such a violation of the laws of nature and of God could only have resulted in bringing the great curses upon our civilization known as "depressions."

I think I'm gonna make this event. Maybe not the boat trip, but dinner for sure.

My, what a "small runabout" you have there Lucky Dave.....it's a pity we have other plans for the day, otherwise I would've been there in a heartbeat for a cruise!!

See you all Sunday evening for a beer or 3!!

Hoh, Hum, another shitty day in paradise!

    Adjusted Sailing Time

It looks like some may have a difficult time making it to the boat on time while still having a good ride getting there, so I am adjusting the sailing time to 3:00 pm.
The same "be there on time or too bad" rule applies. I'm planning on a "two hour cruise" around San Diego's scenic bay, taking in sights such as the home of Navy Seal training and various aircraft carriers 'n stuff. We should be back to the dock by five, you guys take off to dinner and I'll meet you there after I take care of the boat.
Souldaddy is selecting an Italian restaurant near the harbor so it will be a quick jaunt after our yachting adventure. Save me a seat.......

    Sounds outstanding, Skipper.

Regarding the restaurant, as it turns out this Sunday is the San Diego Sicilian festival and Little Italy will be closed to traffic so no motorcycle parking will be available.

I tried to persuade them to change the day of the festival for us but you know how those stubborn Italians are. Plus, Spaghetteria is not taking reservations that day so it's a bit of a double whammy.

Other spots not far from the KonaKai are being sought so please stand by. If anybody knows another good place and would like to suggest it that would be great. Looking for a large patio with bike parking real close and of course lots of anchovies and garlic on the menu.

By tomorrow afternoon we should have ride and restaurant info a bit more focused. And, hey, if you guys want to check out the festival that could be a lot of fun, too. Maybe we can just park our bikes in the car show, right?

Hey Dave, I just noted the change of time. How many people are down for the boat trip, and how many can the "runabout" take? At 3pm, it sounds like me and the family could make it, (5 people), if that's not too much of a hasle for one and all. We are all boaties from way back, and would obviously be on our best behaviour!! Let us know if not convenient, but sure would be an added bonus for us Aussies..... Wouldn't want to impose.

You and your family are most welcome!
Hell, I planned this sight seeing cruise with you in mind in the first place, and having another mariner on board is more than welcome with all the "lubbers" to herd around

    From the suprise guy

Awesome change of "cast off" time Dave...that's the spirit!
It's been awhile since I worked for Charter Concepts (like over 25 years!) on the Sun Star {the boat from all the Budweiser commercials in the early 80's with Patton's cute mutt stealing the show from all the silicon babes} in Marina del Rey, but if you need a first matey I just might remember how to affix the bumpers and set the lines that special way, when we re-dock haha!!!
