San Diego Little Italy Night - Sunday May 20th!! NOTICE: NO LONGER IN LITTLE ITALY

Hey gents, it's approaching prime time for the SoCal Apes to gather up and catch up down in Little Italy as we've done in the past.

So RED X the day on your calendar now so you are sure not to miss it.

Our ever faithful mate from downunda Exdukenut and his lovely wife will be in town and will be joining us, too, so how cool is that??

Saturday 5/19 -- Latest updates on Sunday's event:

Dinner will be at Pomodoro located at 2833 Avenida de Portugal, San Diego, CA. 92106 in Point Loma near Shelter Island

    http://pomodorosd.com

Our reservation will be at 5:30 under The aprilia Group

For the rides prior to meeting at the boat, it looks like having two groups going makes the most sense so for the northern group let's meet at the AM/PM in Wildomar off of Clinton Keith and 15 on the West side of the freeway at 10:00.
    My cell is 760-728-9964.

Southern Group should meet at the Via Rancho Parkway Shell station WEST of the 15 in Escondido at 9:00 -9:30.

    Bob's cell is 619-307-0261

    LA/OC guys' Starbucks location: http://s3.amazonaws.com/files.poster...nyyqcrpHrdk%3D

    Wildomar location: http://maps.google.com/maps?q=36228+...92595&t=m&z=16

    Escondido location: http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Del+La...92029&t=m&z=16

Yachting itinerary and info: Boarding around 2:30, 3:00 departure ... sharp.

Kona Kai Marina on Shelter Island, slip E-29. The last marina on Shelter Island Drive before the harbor police docks at the end.

    Map/directions: http://www.konakaimarina.com/san-diego-directions.aspx

PARKING AT THE MARINA: Per Isabel, the Ace Parking lot manager, we can ride our bikes through the gap in the gate upon entry and exit so DO NOT take a parking ticket out of the machine. That will save us all $16 per bike.

Well, what can I say ... plans are made to morph. And morph, they do.

But maybe the good news is that there are now choices, and if somebody from up north feels like heading out to Santa Ysabel to meet up with the other group and then head out to enjoy the mass of RVs, LEOs, Sunday drivers, et al, they are welcomed to do that.

What was it that Clint said? Oh yeah, "A man's gotta have options".

    Yessssssssss,
I do have that day off. But not the next and I commute from Victorville. What time table is this shindig? Not worked out yet?
I will have to review available P Days perhaps.

Sounds like a good time to me and it gives me an excuse to ride this thing on the freeway for a change. Looking forward to it.

My calendar is clear (another way of saying my family has not yet revealed my plans to me) but barring being out ranked I'll be there.
I might be conned into leading a little ride along the way.

It is long past overdue. I'll be there (unless I'm welcoming my son back from Afghanistan)

Uh, ok ... well, it looks like this might be lining up to be a bit of a family affair, right? So I think I'm gonna bring my daughter before she moves off to New Zealand for a year. Would that be ok?

Thanks. Yeah, it is very puzzling to everybody. She's a good kid, and does have a little talent here and there, too, if I might brag a wee bit.

So let me get a new rear tire and we can pop down into DeLuz if you're in the mood. I think the V4 would have some fun.
