    Sportcity 300 Cube suspension

When I ride on streets in bad condition or with cable car rails I feel not very safe with my cube.
    The original suspension is terrible.
When I look into the manual I can`t see any shimpack in the fork.
I looking for a better suspension or some tips to tune my fork and shock absorber.
Do anyone have some recommendations or experience and can tell me this.
    Thanks

changing oil to a heavier mix viscosity can help i believe for the sc their are avail. a bit of aftermarket parts for ther Forks and I believe Aprilia mayve used a few MFG's for the susp so theyre are probably a few choices

    gaiusbonus,

This is what I did to mod the suspension for my SC250. Most should be applicable to your SC300.

As a follow up, I need to go to stiffer front springs, so I will need to update the article.

Also, I will be changing my tires out and they are note listed as part of my suspension mods. What tires do you have on the bike? Second, what do you weigh?

I'm running a pair of Ikon 7610 rear shocks with preload and rebound adjustability. They use progresive springs with a slightly higher initial rate over stock. Ikon is the Australian company that bought the production of Koni when they got out of the motorcycle suspension business. The shocks have made a huge difference in handling both solo and 2-up.

    V-power,

I checked their site, if I can ask, what did the shocks run?

Yeah. I sent them an inquiry also. Do you know the specific number for the Sport City application? Is it the same as the Scarabeo 250?

Before I go and remove the rear shock on my Sport City 250 to measure the free length, does anybody know that number? Or better yet, is it the same length as the Sport City 300's rear shock?

Bob, After all that posting.... I'd say its about 350mm or 360mm from eye to eye. You can measure the shock length without removal.

Be prepared for sticker shock... they are in the same neighborhood as YSS shocks.

I don't have the info on the 7610s available at the moment, but they were very close to $400 for the pair. Definitely not small money, but worth it for the improved handling. I did get a small break on the price for providing info on the application for the SC300.
