I have just finished putting a Koso Dual EGT gauge/sensors set up on the engine.

I hope to finally get on the Dyno end of next week.

Looks nice ! I have been running a Vintage 250cc BMW in the ECTA standing mile land speed trials http://www.ecta-lsr.com/
I just picked up a 1996 RS250, and was planing on running it this year in the P/P-250/2 class (Production Frame/Production Motor 250cc 2-stroke)
Was there any specific engine mods you did that favored top end speed versus sprint track performance ?

You bringing your RS to Wilmington this first round? BTW, my youngest son goes to the Art Institute there in Chicago....

It is the sort of events that we are looking at over here.

Put the Bike on Dyno but I stuffed up and did not have PVs hooked up properly bummer.

No damage just did not get any data

It made 65hp on first run then PVs did not open and power went down.

I now have bungs for AFRs fitted now



I use Innovate AFR Meter

All fixed now, try again soon

I would really like to know how your bike runs with those heads...I'm planning on getting some two piece heads for my RGV soon, to go with my TYGAs I recently bought. And see what kind of class ECTA would put me in.......
Looking forward to hearing more on your LSR attempt, as you get your RGV built.

Hopefully have a few test runs at Willowbank Drag Strip soon.

I ran the bike stock and recorded 101mph.

I have the same gearing on the bike so I can get some comparison.

The rescheduled Speedweek May 28th has been cancelled . It was not for lack of trying from the DLRA.

Oh well suppose I can now get another go on the Dyno. Can't wait till March.
