falco won't start

can anyone help me when i try to start my falco the sellenoid starts to click and E F I appears on dash sometimes it fires up and sometimes it doesn't

open the throttle right up and hit the start button , you might of flooded it
make sure your battery is tip top condition

sellenoid is toast or on the way. Jump across the two terminals with a screw driver and see if it starts to confirm.

Replace with a better yamaha item. Search the forum, you'll find the part #.

thank's for the advice will try my bike is a 2004 sl falco with 22000 miles on it only had it one day will post picture shortly
