Water trap and regulator on 2009's

I have been asked where I am mounting the water trap and new Gen III Regulator on the 2009's... here's some pics.

The water trap bracket is made to fit and mount using an existing screw.
The Gen III Regulator mounts under the seat bucket and fits into the opening where the lock bar used to be.

Hi guys, this is my first post here, I see a pic of my scooter up top by High-Gain!! I am still working on my SR body and I will post an update here with pics and details within two weeks. I have learned so much from this forum here and I thank you all!! especially Richard for building my engine, the little hook-up and tips.

Both the watertrap and regulator looks very "factory/original" like, very delicate... The only thing I don't like is the thickness of the gauges. I'm sure if there was another option, you would have used it. I'm thinking thin digital gauges. I guess you have not found any that would do the job and look nice or they would drive up the cost to much?

Correct, front and middle. Without the factory air box the left side needs support. Here's a full pic.

The gauges are actually very tiny in person, only 42mm. Electronic auto gauges are 52mm

Yaiks!! I thought there was a reason.. I bit strange that no one don't make smaller ones, as pretty much all electronics are getting smaller and smaller..

Did you ship him the entire scoot from New York?

No Rich bought it brand new in Colorado for me. I am currently installing a TURBO on it, I hope it makes a difference or a tiny boost but I'll find out this monday.

I really like the way you set up the water trap where you did...think my mech a new project soon

Looks good, but won't that filter get smushed whenever the rear suspension compresses? I had that problem until I installed a shock riser.

I'm going to have to something like what you did with the hgt reg., its broken the 2nd bracket.
