World Super Bike - IMOLA (Spoiler)

While I've got no where near budoist's talent for writing, we do have have the World Super Bike Imola round to contend with this weekend!

    Who's going to win?

    Sykes?
    Max?
    Carlos?

Probably be that guy on that bike.....

Biago was looking crazy strong the first weekend though, and you can't rulle out Carlos for sure....

looking forward to this for sure. I think it's going to be even more exciting than the last race, as every has had a chance to shake off the cobwebs. I hope this season isn't completely dominated by a single rider like last year.

    In that order.

    Possibly Max before Charles, depends.

It would be a real confidence boost for him if Max did win, but then he would have to 'keep his head' for the rest of the season. Not like last year.

    JedB,
No worries about the brevity of your post: sometimes it is good to just get on with it:

Where do you think Laverty will finish. I put Max at first or second as well, barring injury. Checa, he is looking strong and is a true pro like Max. With the new 1199 being raced it will be a very interesting season. God, 2 new subscriptions to lay for. With flight school and being more busy than I ever imagined, well, being able to just download and watch on my time would be the way to. Got storms building in my area, time for me to make my plan for tonight. I SHOULD just go the fuck to sleep!

It's what? like 7 pm in Texas? I guess you should get some sleep. I know what you mean though, I fell asleep sitting on the couch at 7:15.

With Max riding like the wind I'll take him for the double. That comeback from last place to win ride at the opening was Yoda like in execution.

I think Laverty will get tossed a few more times by the V4 while he tames it, then watch out.
It also looks like Hopkins will ride this week, lets hope he stays on the bike.

Im gunna barrack for tommy sykes i hope he can win or podium this wknd and a few more.
it would be great for Kwaka and wldsbk in general.
But i think the usual suspects will be lingering around the front

If we can get an 11th and a 5th out of Biaggi we will still be on track since that is what Biaggi's best Aprilia performances at Imol have been.

Max was in stunning form at PI so he's gotta be feeling confident, but really it's too close to call.

Max, Chucker, Laverty, Melandri, Sykes, Haslam................

I'll be expecting wins from all of them this year.

I'll second that.......Max seems to spend more time ploughing thro' gravel traps at Imola than anything else, if he's to continue the form he showed at PI there's got to be a big change in his performance at this track. Sykes could be on for his first win here if he can maintain pace for the whole race distance, the Brit riders generally like the track as its similar to UK circuits and he has been on pole the last 2 years. Broken leg & fickle BMW or not I think Haslam could also show well (the Suzuki blew up on him here a couple of years back when he had a good lead),Charlie Checa obviously, Johnny Rea? That's the best thing about WSB, its not just an elite 2, 3 or 4 that can be expected to be fighting for the win.
Just glad the racing is properly underway again now, with GP, WSB & BSB there's not an empty weekend until August!

All within 2 seconds. Not too bad!

I hope Sykes does it, just because he's worked pretty hard to get the Kawi there...
