I like my Leo cans, the looks, and especially the sound....but I bought the bike with them. I did take the stickers off. It also has a decat pipe and it gets a little warm when sitting in traffic for a while. I can't compare to stock exhaust as I never rode it with one.

I also noticed recently that I have a slight exhaust leak where the left can joins the pipe...not sure what to do about that one, but this seems to be causing extra heat on the left side.

crappy phone pic(had to take it to contest a parking ticket the other day)

Thanks mate......I see what you mean about the end caps

Do you have a link for this part by chance?
Which model Shiver do you own? Do you know if this shield fits the 2012 Shiver?

    Thanks!

Just found this Carbon heat shield (Aprilia P-HSA10R1/A1), on Akrapovic's site. I've emailed Croatian dealer to check the price and see if they will fit on a new Shiver.

What about ghost exhaust for shiver? I know that is not so spectacular as Akra`s, Leo`s etc. but I like the oryginal look of that bike.

Looks great!!! So are you prepared to make them, as I've seen that there are few member shere which wouldn't mind forking out some cash to have it on their bike?!

I just heard your clip on youtube, NICE sound!!!! If you could find a Shiver with Akra's on and film it alongside your bike to hear the difference...

How does it feel on the bike compared to the stock exhaust?

That would be not so easy to find another Shiver around, not saying about Shiver with some tuning pipes. I know there is one guy on this forum, spook from czech republic, he might be the closest one who own Aprilia with Arrow`s as I remember.

Basically, my pipes have a bit smaller inner diameter than Akrapovic or Arrow because of the exhaust cover measure. I put the biggest pipes I could fit in those covers, overall lenght is similar but I think the sound isn`t so deep and bassy (i don`t know how to write it, hope You understand what I mean). I like the sound when engine works above 5000rpm, it sounds very "racing". When I only have a chance I`ll make some movie during the ride.

How it feels comparing to stock one? Hard to say,I rode stock one before winter and start new season with this one so it`s a long time. One I can say, it`s a lot louder and I think that bike breath more easyli.

You asked if I am prepared to produce some exhaust like mine, to be honest not right now because lack of time, but in winter time, who knows

I'm rather fond of my brushed aluminium Arrows, they just suit the bike's colour scheme methinks:

arrow are designed in conjunction with aprilia, and are on my dorsoduro. no problem with the mapping or running lean, they sound great with out being to noisy with the db killers out, for whech they never were. bike runs real strong with the cat gone, and free flowing air filter. my mechanic was tops when it came to tuning the bike.
