Mihaun, to be honest, I didn't have the bike for very long before I did it. So I cannot give a good comparo, but I will say that I have not noticed any great deal of heat, not enough to be truly uncomfortable.

I would go with the Akras, their build quality seems the best IMO....
I wanted the Akras for my DD Factory but too many already had them, I went with the Mivvs and have not seen another Factory in the UK with them, they were a nightmare to fit and they are still not 100%, you will not have that issue with the Akras!!!

Personally, I've bought more aftermarket exhausts than you can shake a stick at. The Italian stuff is OK. Does the job, stylish, but quality isn't perfect. Akrapovic is just awesome quality kit. Just perfection, with full spare parts back up too. You'll always get strong money for it on Ebay, once you decide to sell. If you can afford it - buy it. That's my view.
My Italian garage:
201? RSV4 Factory APRC or BMW F32.
2011 RS125 - Modified CDI (FP Euro 2), Evotech tail tidy & exhaust hanger, Talon alloy sprocket, SSS hd chain.
2009 Shiver 'Factory APRC' - OEM Screen, CF panels & fender, DNA air filter, PC Flo oil filter, Pazzo levers, Akra slip-ons, LV decat, NGK Iridium, 16/45 Afam/Superlite sprockets, EK X-ring gold, Skidmarx hugger, Evotech tail tidy, LSL fatbar & sliders, HLD seat cover, clear clutch cover & protector, Samco hoses, Barracuda LED, MFW Vario footpegs, Fatduc O2 manipulator, brake lever guard.
2008 Cagiva Mito 125 - Fully derestricted and loaded with $pecial parts.
Agree but if you want your bike to be individual then sometimes Akra won't cut it as they are far too common IMO
The quality of the Mivv's I have is excellent, just the fitting was a nightmare and to be honest their customer service isn't up to scratch either but for me they were the perfect exhaust for my bike!
It's all about trade offs and compromise I suppose!

Not many Shiver's where I live, and mine being ABS version had to be ordered from Italy. My dealer told me it's the only red/black MY2010 in Croatia, so I think there is no issue with exclusivity
Also, dealer will install it for nominal fee and it won't void my warranty. And it's available in the store the day I arrive. Leo Vince or Arrow I had to be ordered a month in advance...
But your Mivv looks very nice too!!!
I've done a total of 101km on my bike in two rides. First one was on the day I brought it from the dealer and it was done at 9pm with 3 degrees Celsius, cooooold... I took it for the ride the next day, and that day the temp was between 10 and 13 Celsius and at the end of an hour ride I could notice that my left butt cheek was getting warm. I'm concerned if I could sense this at 13 degrees, how's going to be in summer when we have 30+...
Day after that ride I was on the plane and still away, hence the low km reading on my odometer (working abroad).
