Not only Leo's but all. Akra is equally bad and I'm tired of this branding visible from the airplane... What happened to good old engraving (watermarking)?!?!?! If I go for pipe with the sticker it's coming off.

Did anybody take the sticker of their after-market pipes and how does it look like?
I agree the stickers on all the after market cans are gordy and some times rediculous colours .This is to make em stand out sales ploy. Now I know a guy on the triumph forum who had a ding on the one can.So he swapped them over so the ding was on the inside also the arrow logos were on the inside too.Think about it!! regards Robbie

If you ever have the chance, it would be an interesting comparison.

I like the sound when engine works above 5000rpm, it sounds very "racing". When I only have a chance I`ll make some movie during the ride.
    Looking forward to the movie.

You asked if I am prepared to produce some exhaust like mine, to be honest not right now because lack of time, but in winter time, who knows
    I'm sure you'd sell plenty...

Guys is it worth adding 10 to 15% to the cost of the shiver on an exhaust system just to get an additional 3.4 hps and 2.4 lb-ft?

For me it was worth it for the exhaust note alone

Besides, you can always take them off again when you decide to change bikes and sell them for 3/4. Of their original price

my arrows have etched in them from the factory, specially made for aprillia, it was a joint effort between the two companies and does not void the warranty, i took my cat off and put a free flowing air filter in it, it is a different bike

You put a free flowing air filter in your cat? Tell me more with pics please.

After much ado, I finally got the Akrapovič pipes installed on my bike!!!! It's been done by the authorized Aprilia service so it doesn't void the warranty, which is 4 years in my case.
Unfortunately, I've only done 60km after the install and more detailed impressions will have to wait until August when I'll have more time to twist the throttle.

What I can feel so far is that the sound is a bit deeper, throatier than the stock (db killers are not removed). Can't wait to try them without the db killers, but I think I'll ride with them in. I'd like to keep friends with my neighbours and shiver makes nice noise from rider’s perspective to keep me happy. I will have to ask a friend to ride by me while standing to hear it from spectator’s perspective.
Another benefit I experienced in that the throttle is a bit less snappy at low revs in lower gears (I ride almost exclusively in sport mode). I'll comment more on this when I have the chance to spend more time behind bars.
Also the weight savings are huge. Original weighs a ton and I didn’t really realize this until I lifted it. Does anyone know why the stock is so heavy as the new pipes are EC compliant?
As indicated on this forum, the new pipes don't seem to do much in reduction of heat coming out of exhaust.... It’s gets hot in town and the temps were over 35C these days, so more reason to keep to open roads
I spoke to Akrapovič dealer and he will get me the plate, which comes between the pipes and the seat, free of charge. What I don’t understand is why this plate is not coming with the exhaust as standard?!?!?! The Akrapovič pipes are not cheap and it would save installation money, as I’ll now have to have the pipes removed to get the plate in. Also this will take some valuable time out of my riding, which in my case is very limited…

Check this article "The difference a pipe can make", which gives a nice summary of what Akrapovič does for our machines.

They have not mentioned the weight loss... Which improves the bike as the Weight/power ratio becomes better (although no increase in power)... :-)

True, weight is a big difference though I didn't feel it while riding. Did anyone actually noticed this? Can you feel the weight difference while riding?
Maybe they got the bike with the pipes installed without handling the stock or Akra's pipes off the bike. They say there is power increase, but can you actually feel it while riding?
What I could feel was a bit less snatchy throttle response in sport mode and sound change of course (db-killers in).
