Akrapovic, Arrow or Leo Vince exhaust for Shiver MY 2010

So, I'm in a bit of a dilemma as to which of the above mentioned exhaust (slip-on's) I should go for. I'm not planning to go for a decat, just a slip-on.

I'm only interested in titanium/carbon fibre version of all 3 and the prices I can get here are :

    1367 USD for Arrow
    1278 USD for Akrapovic
    1171 USD for Leo Vince

I'm inclined towards Akrapovic which to me looks better than Leo Vince and about the same as Arrow but it's a bit cheaper and it's immediately available. Arrow has to be ordered and the wait is a month!!!

What's the forum's opinion on this? Fire away!!!

Also, when I change the pipes do I also have to change the air-filter?

I have the arrow darkline fitted to my 2010 bike and I'm really pleased with them.. The reason I have them rather than any other ones is that they came up for sale at the right price. Of the ones you have listed I would probably choose the akras....

I've checked all over the place but at this time no discounts anywhere... I could get aluminium Arrows (71748AON) for 300$ less than Akras but I don't like the look of it without carbon fibre caps.

Can you post some pix of your bike?

You will see all three brands represented on this forum. I would have to say that you would be hard pressed to be unsatisfied with any of the brands you mentioned.

And I personally have Leo's installed with no decat and no filter upgrade, and have no issues. Many say that the fueling is already lean from stock so I don't want to make it to lean by adding a free-flow filter and decat on top of the slip-on's. But that's just my two cents worth.

I picked up carbon Leos as I liked their look the most. But I think you cant make a mistake with either of the big three (Leo, Arrow, Akra).

Those Arrow Darklines are a perfect compliment to your bike LordLucan. Very nice.

Wow, they actually look very nice. One aesthetic thing about Arrow's is that their logo is not too loud in terms of color like Akra's or Leo's.
Now I might reconsider and go for the darkline... :-( The problem with so many choices is that you have to make a decision at one point..

Spook, nice pictures, and I like the combo of the white bike and black pipes.
While I like the carbon fibre tubes, I don't like the way Leo's caps point down from the rest of pipe (just me being a bit OCD ). And that sticker... I wish they offered the pipes without it.
Not only Leo's but all. Akra is equally bad and I'm tired of this branding visible from the airplane... What happened to good old engraving (watermarking)?!?!?! If I go for pipe with the sticker it's coming off.

Did anybody take the sticker of their after-market pipes and how does it look like?
