how do I remove the pressed gear from secondary drive gear?

Trying to install Malossi 15/40 gears. What kind of tools and procedure should I use. Is it common for the inner diameter of the upgraded secondary drive gear to appear larger than what the stock is? Is that due to a/ the metal component that is keeping the stock drive gear pressed?

I used a 3-Jaw Mechanical Bearing Puller...

Yup... The second time around that is what I did... You can also check with your local machine shop as thay all have the mens to press on gears.

Just MAKE SURE that you have the gear set right (the shop that did mine had the new gear on backwards and that was when I used the 3-jaw puller)!!

Make sure you install the circlip on the drive shaft (the shaft the clutch sits on) Behind the seal.
