Are quick shifters good for the gearbox !!!

hi legion so what settings have you used on your shifter i have the same shifter as you but having trouble setting the correct sensitivity what % have you got yours set to

will check in the morning..I went out yesterday and played about with it till it felt right...best idea due is to take it out and have a play about......changed mine a few times up and down the scale............have you set the C or E selection.?

I have the sensitivity on 65% and the Kill Time at 66% on E......seems to work really well for me...

Yeah, maybe you have it set on Extention when it should be on compression or vice versa.

I think some people think if your new to a forum, your new to motorcycles from some of the comments I read. My guess is if you are worrying if it is bad for the bike, means you do infact understand to an extent how they work. I think it is a totally valid question. Clutchless shifting, in any form you would think, would be worse for a gearbox than using clutch

I'm thinking of getting a HMQUICKSHIFTER for my 2010R , any thoughts on this or other brands.

the bazazz q/s is fantastic, so if you were planning on getting your bike custom mapped at a later date or going for t/c I'd recommend getting the bazzaz zfi tc q/s

me neither and I won a champioship 2006 and a 3rd in 2005........!....and without a quickshifter...hehehehe

Fitted the HM quickshifter and had a play at the track yesterday. I used legion748 settings , thanks. Smooth as silk.

ALL this chatter, and nobody mentions the Annitori RL?!?!?! So as I was doing my research on the HM, I stumbled onto the Annitori RL [LINK] and noted that it's made by HM and is still a strain guage quickshifter. As a substantial cost reduction, I decided to order one and give it a whirl. It's going in this weekend, and will be tested on the track next weekend.
