    Okay I ohmed the wire from pin 15 on the ECU to the air/fuel injector and the injector relay, everything checks out, also checked inside the connector for corrosion nothing to see, battery is at 12.6 volt without the engine started.

    OK, Battery is good... It could be Pin Tension (HG may comment on that part... and others).

    Had a friend bring me a few parts for testing, tried with a new injection relay, stator, air injector and fuel injector, code 9 is still there, if its not the wiring then its maybe the ECU?

    I would, but he only got the ECU mounted to his scooter, and its a Factory with the Piaggio engine, not sure if that ECU will work on a Morini based Ditech ?

    Thank you, will try and borrow that tomorrow then, and see if code 9 comes back, if it does atleast i know my ECU is good, and the fault is somewhere else.

    I was thinking, is there anything else i should check regarding that code 9 ?

    To recap: I disconnected the wires from the ECU, injector relay, and air and fuel injector and checked the wire connection with my tester, everything was perfect, tried with another injection relay, air/fuel injector and stator, still same fault.

    Of cause with every thing i swapped i let the codes reset, but it keeps coming back.

    What can set a code 9 without turning the engine on, it must be some selftest the ECU is doing when you turn the key to ON.

    Can anybody shed some light on that, maybe give me a few ideas to what can cause that fault ?

    Model 2001, 15000k's, I think the safe bet is on the TPS sensor... Been a lot of twisting and wear on that sensor.. So this is the best option.... In my opinion, that is..

    Im not sure if a failing TPS can give an error code 9, i can properly borrow one just to test, it would be really nice if it was something simple so i can go enjoy the nice weather on two wheels.

    Had a chance to try with that other ECU today, and code 9 remains, it must be the wiring on the machine thats something wrong with ?

    Took the Ditech apart today because i had to move it to a another frame so it will be street legal again.

    The wiring was faling apart, so a new one has been ordered, i hope that will solve that pesky error 9.
