just saw 2012 Dorsoduro it looked nice !

Its what 5 kg lighter i think , so what is the weight an your Dd1200 with slipon and so .. I know its rather heavy stock and i cant fint any weight numbers att aprilias Home page ..

I just read a review on the 2012 1200 dorso and they rated it at about 400lb. They also said there is an increase in HP & torque, around 134 and this is with stock pipes. Can't remeber who's review it was, but it was just done early this month.

i dont think so 400 seems to little for stock ..
That is 181kg ,

I guess that with full tank it would be about 215kg = 473lbs .

So how is it , wierd dont you know the weight of your bikes ?

My owners manual list's the standard bikes weight at 213 kg's. That's going to be less when fitted with the Arrow titanium cans / pipes and other bits and pieces that we remove; side covers, air box snout and pegs. Then theres the stuff we add; sliders, bar risers, air hawk, a/c and the pilot. The latter weighs 130 kg's plus riding gear so one can get anal about shedding weight off the bike but in reality it is the weight of the combined package that each individual totals. My operating weight does not detract from the awsomness of this bike though !!! I am going to round up another set of bathroom scales and see just what she weighs and i will post up front / rear bias weights and total weight.

Found it ...

The Dorso accelerates with
sufficient fury to hide its 490.5 lbs., easily lofting the front end
with just the slightest throttle opening. The Dorsoduro is a real
corner carver, too—just a mere nod in the direction you want to
go—and while I had no issues with its stability, I would love to have
had more time to ride its dialed-in suspension. Its brakes offer
anchor-like stopping performance, with excellent initial bite and
a superb feel for easy management.

My bad, I meant to say 500lb! I wonder the weight difference between the abs version compared to non abs. I'd like to know that as well.

I think there is as quite often I see two different stated weights, sometimes 207kg, sometimes 212kg....I first thought it may be just crappy sites but those two figures keep cropping up and I'm sure that ABS pump is fairly heavy.
