Anyone going to Noland's TWC from the New England?

I have to get my bike down to Allen, so figured I'd ask if anyone had already planned on making the trip. I am in CT.

Missed it by about two weeks buddy, just picked mine up. If it helps any the transformation was worth every inch of the drive.

Well that sucks. Glad to hear things worked out though. I'm sure the results will be worth the trip. Did you make two trips down? What did you have him do?

Allen, Who do i need to see at the shop while your out of town. I couldnt make it this past weekend so it seems i will be there to get mine the weekend of the 31st of March. The following weekend i'll be out of town in Tampa, Florida. and waiting any longer is going to make me go INSANE. Just want to make sure someone will know the important bits and provide some sort of receipt of the work.

Sorry, but there's only one person who knows the important bits and can provide anything...and he will be back in the shop on April 4th.

DUDE, RESULTS WILL BE WELL WORTH THE TRIP. I took mine up there from South Carolina a while back and the bike has been running strong ever since.

I made two trips. The first trip me and my son stayed at the Wisp cause they had a pool but it was expensive staying at a ski resort at the bottom of the ski trail and not even skiing. Very expensive. The next trip we stayed pretty much accross the street from Allens shop at the Long Branch Saloon and it was cooler than cool at the right price with bar and restaurant a stumble away. http://www.lbsaloon.com/ Highly recomended.

and he did what's in the link.

    Clutch basket
    Clutch
    Rings
    Valves
    Cam
    Rocker
    Air Filter install
    Akrapovic install
    Map/Tuning
Pretty much inspected the entire engine.

It's not a bad trip. 8 hours or so of driving, hang out with Allen for an hour or so and a decent night out in a really nice town, then drive home the next day. I drive all day for work so maybe Im a little more ok with driving 8 hours at a clip but really, not bad.

Hey Allen what are you going to be doing in Peru? Putting their title 'World's most dangerous rouds' to the test? Tourism? Take some photos man and enjoy the trip! I wish I could do some pool side assistance a bit south from Peru: http://www.victory-cruises.com/pool.html :-) And OP, sorry but you missed my trip by a few weeks, but I can let you know next time I go.

Side note* what would be better for you if there is someone there. Cash or Card???
