I have heaps of spares too. Cranks, as new and used but still good. Piston and ring kits, barrels and pistons which measure up as new and have excellent (as new plating). I have a whole bottom end with an excellent clutch and gearbox, the crank in it needs some work. I have as-new rods and bearings. Ask me if I have something and I've probably got it. Thanks for all the lovely thoughts. I've had a great run really, racing in my youth as an A grader and with over 46 years riding on the road I can't complain really. I did think I'd have at least another 10 years ratting about up the Macquarie Pass and through the National Park but maybe it's not to be. The health is not good and the stroke whilst mild has really affected my ability to ride and judge distance. Not a great recipe for high powered two wheeled craft...

As for the price set for my bike and the lovely comments about its' condition, I agree, it's too cheap but I need to sell as my wife is applying pressure and I've seen good bikes on Ebay not sell at over $5K. It's priced to sell.

Cranks and spare rods and new piston kit has been sold to South Australia, thanks to the buyer. If anyone needs as new barrels with matching (unscuffed) pistons please let me know. These measure up as stock and have extremely good plating. The pistons have done about 1500Kms (running in). I bought them from a friend who crashed his bike a few years ago and they've been sitting waiting to go onto my restored bottom end (which hasn't yet been done). I'd like $250.00 for the set if anyone is interested.
I'll take $400.00 for my bottom end (excellent gearbox and clutch) but the crank needs bearings. I can supply the bearings.

In digging around in my parts bin, I found a NOS fuel tap assembly (still in Aprilia wrapper). $45.00 secures that + postage. Also a PV servo assembly in good working order, $45 + postage, as I find other bits I'll pot them here.

My bike has sold on Ebay for a price I was happy with. Better than the money I asked for here so thanks for the advice guys. It will be hard not to have it to ride as I used to.

On another note, I also found a very clean set of carbs at the bottom of my parts cupboard if anyone is interested.
