for the heads up. The Rox Risers are 2 inches not 1 so I have just had another look at the front brake line and it is very tight

It's held by a metal loop with the other cables at the top center of the forks, which I guess is to keep it tidy. It would have more slack if I set if free from there, or would that cause more problems?

Yeah id say so but you may want to watch it on lock.
What id reckon you should do is ditch the standard bar. For the hassle and expense involved in experimenting in getting something else to fit properly id just advise the rally raid kit. Its trick looking (if thats yer bag), more comfy, cheap and its designed capo specific.

You might be right there. I was just being lazy and didn't want to take the whole bar apart. Wouldn't the RR kit have the same issues with the brake cable?

If your hoses are standard length the rr kit is plug and play. About an hours work to do it all.

    SOLD! Thank's fellas!
Ordering them now. I guess we'll see if I can get them on without taking the tank off :-S
    Wish me luck!

May as well replace my grips while I'm at it as they are almost totally worn.

If you do as Bluemeeni suggests in removing the bars first and pulling the whole deal left you will get all the slack you need without having to remove the tank/airbox. I was thick and didnt think of that, got to adjust my cables to perfection and clean the throttle bodies ect tho...
Consider the stelvio handguards too, fit perfect and cheap also.

Finally got my RR handlebar kit from Apriliayorkshire.co.uk. They were on back order and the guy said they aren't making them in kits anymore only seperate part so it was hard to find and had to come from Italy.
Anyway, I got them on no problem. didn't have to remove the tank, though it was a very tight fight to get my socket wrench under the yoke. I've got the Aprilia heated grips with the ugly black box and so couldn't find a a way to replace the rubber grips, so I'll keep them till they're unusable I guess.
All the cables reach no problem and my origiy cross-brace on the other hand won't. I know you can buy them from Accossato. They come with the handle bars as product AGTRM00, but not sure what size of cross-brace to order on it's own. I'll give them a call tomorrow and find out.

Next job, Fitting a 12v socket to the dash!

    Bull-sc risers + Accossato handlebar

bull-sc produces those adaptors for accossato handlebar, useful to install the original bar ends

Ordered a set last week from Aprilia Yorkshire, now Ultimate Parts in Nots, to replace bent originals.

The cause was a slippery ford (River crossing not one of Henry's) that caught me out at low speed and I ended on my jack sat in the water, the interesting bit was trying to pick the bike up stood on slippery rocks.

Was expecting to have to wait a couple of weeks for them to come, hopefully they can source some from somewhere.

Quick Question do the RR bars have the nuts in the bar for the bar end weights?

    Rally Raid Handlebar Kit

No. It is hollow. You need the expansion type mounts

Funny, my RR bars had a thread inside the ends. I just had to screw in the internal nuts (I guess that's what you call em?!?) into the bar ends. Then added the bar end weights. My kit came with the bar end weights as well.

I got my RR from the same people as Globalone.
