    Erratic speedo

My speedo is going intermitantly haywire, 0mph, 120mph 8mph etc, I've checked the forum and it looks like the speedo sensor is on the way out.
What I'd like to know is does this effect the low fuel warning light?
I know it shouldn't, but you never can tell with Italian electrics.

How would the speed sensor know that you added fuel? Just a thought.

Yes, speed sensor is a common fault with our bikes, particularly on early models. Should be a warranty job as there are service bulletins about it.

Low fuel warning reset could be related as odometer will be faulty also. Once it resets it should work as expected...
