Really a do it all bike, and fun power to weight ratio. On top of that easy 3000 mile oil changes, and reasonable valve check intervals

Well, i mean. It's going to be different given the circumstances....lol, if the world is going to be some post appocalyptic, zombie run, neucular wasted, fight for your life type of lifestyle.

Personally, I could see myself tearing thru a dry dusty field, with throttle in one hand, sawed-off 12 guage shotgun in the other, with my brimmed safari hat like woody pictured below...

True, an investment indeed however I chose because of it's timeless beauty, rarity and the fact that they built bikes to last back then. I don't think were going to see any 70+ year old bike from our time in the future. Well, we would be dead but you get my meanimg.

But to answer the question as if I had the opportunity to get any OTHER bike, and it would have to be my only bike? Hard to say - there are a few candidates I'd need to get good test rides on first 999S Biposto is a front-runner.

Yes - the multi 620 is a very nice bike! Not aggressive or super fast but a a cool, different, comfortable bike!

Only one bike? It would have to be a modded out harley davidson sportster. Cos it would be timeless, and you'll still look great on it when you're 65.

At 62, I will feel lucky if I am riding next year.
With real luck, I could ride another 20.

What would I want to ride?

Exactly what I am riding now.
Magnet Grey ’03 Tuono with my favorite bars, Sargent, Ohlins, linked midpipe and Gabro 255.

When I ride it, 100 yards from the house it feels – perfect.
After a day or several of the twistiest roads in the world, it feels – perfect.

Spare parts on the shelf, spare motor, spare wheels with tires in the rack, and spare bike next to it on Pit Bulls.

After 45 years of riding 20+ bikes, this one is – me.
