3rd Annual Southeast Ape rally/ride -Near Little Switzerland NC

Okay, so it's a little early to start a roll call, but two folks have asked for the weekend because they have to put in for time off far in advance. I'm proposing June 8-10, 2012. I thought the timing was good last year; June was more stable and cooler than July. Rally central with be our cabin 5 miles east of Little Switzerland NC. We usually ride North and East one day and South and West the other. Sometimes weather dictates the direction.

Same as last year, ride in or trailer in Thursday evening, Friday evening, or Sat morning. Day rides planned for Friday and Saturday. We'll have space to camp, showers, coffee and juice in the mornings, and a BBQ dinner Saturday evening. If you'd rather not camp the two best motel options are Alberts Inn http://alberts-burnsville.com/ and The Celo Inn http://www.celoinn.com/ . The Celo Inn has single rooms, dorm-like room, and a cabin for 4-6 persons. If you're thinking about coming and don't want to camp, call the Celo Inn early as they fill up fast. Alberts tends to have rooms open a little closer to the stay date.

I had a great time last year. I'm hoping to make it this year, it just depends on what's going on at work. I'm wanting to come up that way in the next couple of weekends to play in the new car, yea I know it's kind of a sin around here.

I'll definitely try to make it. I won't know for sure until about 2 or 3 weeks before. My schedule is posted 2 to 3 weeks in advance, & I do have to, occasionally, work weekends. I may be able to bring a couple of friends, if one gets a bike, the other is free.
