    falco clutch

    could any body on here tell me if you change a falco clutch from fluid to cable clutch from a newer aprilia engine,i may be talking stupid but just like to know.

    I think if you did that it would be a big first in the land of Aprilia
    Some folks accuse me of thinking the world revolves around me ,but it doesnt .It revolves around the sun which shines out my arse !

    The look what i have in my garage list...

    a Superduke 990
    a z750
    a suzuki 750 not tellin u will take the piss
    some other bikes
    some other bikes with no engines
    a Chainsaw
    some spanners and other tools
    a collection of exhausts and other detritus for bikes i no longer own
    some assorted wood
    various fluids
    old riding gear
    radio controled things that crashed and broke
    spare tiles for the bathroom

    Almost anything can be done ..... it's whether anyone would invest the effort and whether there is any real benefit that determines whether it will be done.
    I doubt this is a particularly simple thing to do and what parts might have to be fabricated .... though I've not actually looked at it .....

    Just having a quick think about this and it might not be as difficult as I first thought.

    The bar end of things is easy enough, you've already got the nipple part where the plunge ping sits.

    The slave end could be a cam on a lever rod and there's plenty of bolt up space at the existing slave behind the O/E sprocket cover.

    Getting the lever and mechanical advantage sorted and positioning of the lever arm would be the intricate part, likely to need some custom manufacturing.

    It depends on the model of flux capacitor you're running. Blue, yes - green, no.

    If only it was that simple.....

    An inverted blue flux capacitor will work as long as the terminals are crimped but if they're reversed threaded, they wont

    With sufficient force, any two Yamaha parts are interchangeable.
