Matthews Fun Machines here in Charlotte has always been great with my Shiver - my only problems have been some parts issues from Aprilia, but those are a lot better now than in 2008 for sure, unless you happen to need something during the month they close up shop.

Living in the SF Bay Area we are lucky to have two solid dealers: Scuderia West and San Jose BMW/Aprilia...can't go wrong with either.

I’ve had great results from Richmond Virginia’s Ultimate Cycles. I called on the way down to the dealer for my 6000 mile prepaid service and they got me in right away while I waited.

Make it three soild dealiers in the SF area--Darragh and DT at Rockridge Two Wheels in Oakland are awesome. My Mana had an oil leak right after I purchased it. Told them about it, we watched it for a bit, and then they fixed it, w/o any warranty issues on my end. I later learned that Aprilia NYC wouldn't reimburse them for all of the labor involved--they had to pull the whole engine out of the frame and crack it in half--replacement of all of the gaskets, etc. A pretty labor intensive job--but the guys at Rockridge Two Wheels never complained to me for a moment!

Beyond that, the shop is a fun place to hang out for a few...

Hahah I was joking about that. That's good to know though since The only thing I don't want to do my self is adjust valves on this bike.

I just bought a 2003 aprilia atlantic 500cc and i heard that is recommendable to change the oil thermostat of 75 degrees to a 85 degrees one. Is this true? And if it is where can i find it?.
Any other tip or recommendation about this scooter that i can use to help this scooter work great? Thanks.i'm pegassoss.

I think all Adelaideans would already know, but Angus at Garage Motorcycles in Strathalbyn is first rate.

Had a noisy engine on my RSV4 just before christmas that sounded like a cam chain tensioner (and was), but as it turned out that noise was camouflaging a broken inner valve spring. Angus fixed the first problem then identified and tracked down the second - thankfully all under warranty. New head delivery time from Italy was slow, but all things under Garage's control were spot on.
Angus, Mary-Lou & co are all very friendly and helpful. Only pain is the trip up from Adelaide for a simple service, however there are some nice roads around Strath so always make it a "ride".

my bike has been at the dealer for almost a month for some very simple things, dealership is sitting on it because its warranty work & keep putting other work infront of my bike. I am starting to get pissed off as I think they are busy working on Japanese motorcycles

Make it four. There is also California Speed Sports in Livermore.

I've used Scuderia and CSS, both were fine.

Big thumbs down to California Speed Sports. Dropped my bike off service stand and tried to get away with it. Dangerous place.

Everybody in the Puget Sound region who owns an Aprilia (or Guzzi) already knows this, but for anybody cruising through who needs service support, Moto International in Seattle is first rate. Also a nice place to spend a few minutes and a good source for spare parts and advice.

Does anyone have experience with Unique SBK in Miami?

I heard that this is a former Ducati crew who acquired the MV Augusta, and Aprilia/Guzzi franchise for Miami early this year. Any knowledge or feedback? Am looking to acquire a new Aprilia bike and have it serviced.
