    Quick ECU question...

    ....are the RSVR ecu's interchangable with the GenII 06-09 Tuonos please?

    Yes, since you most likely have a 2 wire cranksensor ECU you can swap for either the same or the earlier 04 type.

    Thanks for that MM, much appreciated.

    The reason I ask, is that there seems to be several part numbers being used for the ECU's, and I was unsure about the engine mapping...for instance, is there any advantage getting a later one?

    UPDATE:

    It now appears the ecu's are NOT intercangable at all...there is an incompatability in the immobilizer which prevents the swap...

    Oh well, back to the drawing board...(and ebay )

    It is true that on a Tuono the immobilizer is in the dash where on an RSV it a separate unit behind the LHS fairing.

    This however does not matter in your case. You should be able to use an RSV i still think.

    Hmm not good news at all. I am Tuonizing my RSV right now. It seems like I need another ECU as well then.
