Well, just got back from my first ride of the season (and the earliest I’ve ever been able hit the road!). I hit a 100Kph and it felt great!!

And my bike started up the way she left off at the end of last year!!!

Man it felt great to be back on 2 wheels again!!

NICE, it's been in the mid to high 70's here all week and MY engine is 1200 mls. away.

Well we hit a high of 19C under mostly sunny sky's! The roads of Winnipeg were alive with the sounds of owners of Motorcycles and Scooters with a winters worth of pent-up energy hitting the roads in hordes!!!

And tomorrow is supposed to be even better!! 26C under clear sky! I plan to take my bike out for a loooooong ride to my favorite haunt (Lockport) for one of the greatest burgers!!

Today I worked on the "Toy Hauler". The Wheel Chock extends out at least 6" so as such, I needed to create an access hatch...




The reason for the hatch is because of the front extension of the chock...

More to come! Of course the Lid of this trailer will need to come off for transporting of the bike...

nice i like it. how well does the tire fit in it?

As a mater of fact, I tested it out today with my scooter while checking measurements and for clearances, it fits not to bad at all!!!!

The Chock is designed for all kinds of tire widths and sizes. for transporting, I may reinstall my center stand, but not to sure yet... I'll wait till after I install the tie-down anchors to see if I will need it.

are you going to devise a "bubble" for the front door, so that the scoot can be on board and the front end of the trailer isn't "flow thru" ?

also if you change the top cross brace from one single rail cross wise to 2 rails lengthwise, cut a "slot" just wider than the scoot and you could "square frame" some "boxes" for front and top,then have the scoot on board yet have the trailer be fully enclosed, weather, wind, stuff flying proof.

this could be very simple and light, just 2x2's and 1/8" "Luan" panel and no taller or wider than needed.

Be glad you are in the Peg... BC is adding ANOTHER gas tax.. ontop of a already added 2% gas tax added 2 months ago.. get this.. .25c EXTRA per Liter on all grades... so that brings our total to now.. 1.82 a L..... for Regular.. Oh man.. so so sad.

So Tim, any updates regarding your "Toy Hauler"? Looking at the pictures of it, I'm sure you will be able to fit two Ditech's in there.. You know how cheap Ditech's are in the US, so are you sure sure you don't wanna bring back a Piaggio 86cc too...... Just to be clear, I'm trying to torture you a bit here... Remember your trip is not far away now, every day is day closer...
