I was probably a 1/4 mile from you guys. Stopped at the Conoco station at parker road and asked for directions. BIG mistake. The guy didnt really speak any english. Tried to ride around a little bit and still nothing. Well, at least I had a 2 hour ride....

Well, my hands are raw, blistered and bleeding from almost 6 straight days of working on the bike, but I couldn't be HAPPIER!!!!!

Installed a new battery as mine was getting weak. Got the new fuse block and Glowshift Gauge installed. Taking a break as Rich is off at his daughters recital... I have a bit more wiring to do...

More picks to come (had issues this AM uploading yesterdays pics). Also got some pics of a 2013 gold SR50! VERY nice!!!

OK, these pics are from yesterday, the 8th of June... Lots done including Dyno runs!


Here we tried to go with PEX style of clamps... Very nice and clean!!

This is just before the "failure"... What happened was that we got clamps in 3/4" and 1". That was all that was available. The problem is that the clear tubes are in Metric. Something a bit larger then 3/4" might have been just fine, but the 1" lines were too loose for the coolant lines, felt good and tight on the Cylinder Head and Jug. Well, the Red circled one on the Jug let loose during a Dyno run. COOLANT EVERYWHERE!!!!

OK, today we did a lot of running around. Went to Harbor Freight, WAY COOL STUFF, kind of like Princess Auto in Canada, but with more stuff... Picked up a new battery for my bike from a Dealer in town as mine was getting week after 3+ years of use...

Today's work consisted of cleaning the bike for it's "Grad Photo", more work on the PFI wiring, removing the Oil Tank (actually brand new as I had just replaced it late last year), the Oil Solenoid/pump (I now have 2 for sale (for the Morini), and Oil Tanks (I believe work on both)... anyone interested PM me), installed my new Glowshift gauges and my new 8 position covered Fuse Block. I also Zip-tied a bunch of the new PFI wiring, and buttoned up the tail section.

Tomorrow should be the final work day. Mostly just "clean-up" of the PFI install items, installing a 12 volt receptacle in the leg shield, and re-installing the plastic! Then, TEST RIDE!!!! I'll have the Contour Camera with and one me for the first test ride for the telemetry!!

Anyway, here are the pics for the day, only 2 from the install part. I couldn't take any of the Glowshift Gauge as the Hoist Strap on the Handle Bar was blocking the "view" so that pic will have to come later...

What is the Function of the of the fuse block? Looks good.

Right now, one handles the PFI Kit, one for my Battery Tender and one for my LED Lights for my key holes. I'll be adding another one tomorrow for the 12 volt accessory plug.

I was just getting tired of all the in-line fusses...

ahh.. that makes sense..no more inline fuses... I def need to add 12v accessory plug def much cleaner look.
