I'll be spending much of my time in CO doing the PFI convert to my SR50.

I believe that I will be able to, and run with a leaner pre-mix for the tank...

OK, Track fees are as follows.

Renting the track for a day on weekends = $3,500.00
Renting the track for a day on weedays = $2,500.00
One day pass for the road track = $35.00 (Open track schedule, no events that day)

The difference is if you get a day pass, you will be on the track with other riders/drivers. It's open to anything from Scooter & motorcycles to 1100cc go-karts

Hummm... that means we'll need between 72 and 100 participants (at $35.00 each depending on weekend or weekday use) in order to have the track all to our selves...

I wonder if Aprilia, Malossi, Polini and even AF1 would kick in some sponsorship money?

Perhaps there are days that aren't as busy. We just may have to share the track...

Well, we don't even know if Rich from HGT will be able to attend. I'm sure it's hard for him to plan that far in advance with all of his top secret builds going on and deadlines to meet. Gotta pay the bills!

Meanwhile, back at the ranch......

What we need is a flyer/handout! Maybe somebody here has the skill or a significant other that can create one for us? I would be happy to hand them out to all of the local scooter groups. There are quite a few.
The better the flyer, the higher turnout?

That's a good point, I will get back in touch with them and find out if they have any requirements. With regards to gear or any restrictions that aren't listed on the website.

Well, lets shoot then for the weekend of the 8, 9 and/or 10 of June if we are able to get the numbers, or we'll just arrive at the track and "take our chances" with who may or may not be there.

Heck, if nothing else, I'm sure that we will turn some heads there and be spending a bit of time explaining things about our bikes!!!

BTW, Princess Auto has THIS on sale (I got the flier in my mail today) for $89.99 (regular $149.99). It requires a 2" receiver (class 2 hitch I believe).

Very true... I too like that I will have "extra carrying capacity" over that of my 4dr Sunfire... My next vehicle will more then likely be an SUV in which case, I'll snag me one of those carriers!!!

So are you planing your trip for the same time frame I am looking at (i.e. June 4 to 15 time frame)?

I hope so!!! Hitch goes on and my trailer will be here March 3rd. Trying to think of a sweet paint job for the trailer. Getting this style or rims for it also.. got to make it looks as good as the scooter!!
