I just called Bazzaz and they said the dorsoduro 1200 is on their list but its pretty far down. So they dont know when they will get to it. They also said that people calling in and asking for it will help bring it up the list!! So if you all want it call in and say your interested.

If they do not get sorted soon I have something in R&D right now that seems to be working and helps with both fuel economy and power. Sort of a combined strategy of using some closed loop feedback and some alpha/n tuning. Hopefully this can all be compiled into a nice reflash at some point. DD1200's use a lot of closed loop feedback like the 750's do. I am thus far not thrilled with the results of using a straight up lambda eliminator and all alpha/n programming. It makes it feel rather "Flatslide" equipped. Not a feeling a like. I have always been a bigger fan of CV Carb sort of feeling from my efi tuning. CV carbs are still the gold standard when it comes to getti g the "feel" right on an efi system. Ride a dead stock 98-99' Yamaha R1 or just a well jetted modified one, you will see what I mean.
If you end up talking to Bazzaz please have them call me, someone from engineering there, I have some feedback from their 750cc system they need to listen to and take seriously. I have called but not heard back in a few weeks now. I know how it is in this industry this time of year though. Just tell them I have a part of the answer for them and will be happy to give them details in person. I made a simple modification to their 750cc system and was thrilled with the results, night and day difference to how their system feels out of the box. I can only really explain it to an engineering level employee though.
Btw, I do need a DD1200 owner local to the NB shop to test on. This person will get no labor charged, full dyno tune, pay parts only and have to understand that this is R&D so it will be neither a quick job or perfect probably on first shot. If I had a DD1200 of my own or a demo I would not be making this request. Bike that has common mods, pipes, filter, no cats would be ideal for me. I cannot take proper measurements using the stock exhaust or a catalyzed exhaust without welding on lambda bungs on your headers and spending a lot on a new dual lambda readout system for the dyno room.

Hey Micah Im in Houston and would lend the DD1200 to ya for a month or two after my Hill Country ride in Late April. I have the Leo system so it still has the cats in it I think.....let me know...I think Ed has my work email which is the best way to get a hold of me...
Sounds like it works for both of our schedules!

a German company now offers a PowerCommander V for the Dorsoduro.
http://www.dzt-power.com/
a dynochart from them shows a gain of a little over 30HP(22kW) and 30Nm(22 ft. lbs) in comparison to a stock DD12. (Exact numbers: 163HP, 145Nm)
PS: please abandon your funny system and use that: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metric_system ! :P
