My CVT case looks as yours does EXCEPT I dont have that funny Idle wheel thats for excessive Belt Flap or slop Me thinks some noise could be made when belt is slapping this wheel Maybe your belt teeth got destroyed by slapping that wheel and then rolling up on the clutch halves or such
Thank you for all that info ... I actually am buying soon the sliders for my scoot... might get them heavier(13gr instead of the 11gr) for better top end. I will be checking next weekend the belt to see how it is looking since I did not see it when it was replaced. I've done some really heavy scooting going to naples twice, marco Island, key west and up north to orlando and cocoa beach. Not to mention that it my daily ride to work (34miles) and weekend ride with my south east florida and west palm scooter gang. So I really think it was my mistake not to have changed it before.

Ive been reading Other forums for years about Cvt's So I decided to fit the Gates 3505 I think it is 784 MM belt basically 9/16 or different length (shorter) So far observations on center stand indicate twas the correct thing to do runs up n down with authority and minimal deflection in middle of the runs top or bottom of pulleys
But I think you do loose some top end when it is shorter? is it so?

I'm looking to buy the brand Heidenau K63 and K64 (http://www.moto-amore.com/heidenau/n...uctsnew_b.html) dont know if 140 would fit, but I am going this weekend to a shop to see if they do.... We will see ... New thread for sure about that.

If a 140 will fit my Old Beo 150 Im almost certain twill fit you 2 Whats the rim width 3 inches ? or right at it ? you should be fine You should be looking at the City Grip Hard theyre Very good tyres .Much like a M/C street tyre (I do no dirt roads ) If I do slowly .... jusat looked at your link you shld be ablev to use their 140 out back and the 100 up front a the K 72 in the 140/70 series lower profile gives ya a lil more susp travel before bottoming .. Thgese tyres you looking at look almost like the City Grips Ive used Michies for years and get good warranty locally etc and price

Hi there guys. I've read this post a number of times and I can't figure out what the dimensions are for the belt. I just bought a Scarabeo 200 from 2008 and well I think the belt is doing some squeaking when i start accelerating. Is there any compatible belts? I'm a total newb with little money so bear with me. What's this all about rollers? Would greatly appreciate any direction. Thanks for reading!

I tried to find a belt that would come close the the fit ... never got a straight answer and all ... so sorry that could not get that measurement. I had to get the oem belt in the end. Good luck and please keep posting if you find a good fit.

A quick tip for removal of tranny cover without removing footrest cover. Use allen key with a ball end, this allows you to poke the allen wrench up at a 45 deg angle. Use a shifter on the allen key if that last pesky screw is tight. This quickens the process hugely and believe me, I'm always taking that darned cover off to clean and fix the darned juddery clutch because of dust and glazing hehe. Nice work Roger
