    Valve clearance specs???

I can't believe it isn't in here somewhere, but i've spent almost an hour looking with no luck...

Does anyone have the valve clearance specs?

A complete write up is not needed, but couldn't hurt as I'm sure there are little things that would help.

for ex, i read that pulling the throttle bodies makes things a LOT easier and is worth the effort.

I found reference to this link a lot:
    http://www.geocities.com/sl_mille/valves.html

    but it isn't working.

    Thanks!

I found the same info on Page 22 of the V990 Shop manual, but was confused by the wording....

Valve Clearance During Intake Stroke: 0.12-0.17mm (.0047-.0067)
Valve Clearance During Exhaust Stroke: 0.23-0.28mm (.0091-.0110)

Now during the "Intake Stroke" wouldn't the Cam be opening the Valve therefore have no clearance. And so the "Valve Clearance During Intake Stroke" numbers would actually be for the Exhaust Cam, and vice versa???

It's a translated manual. Don't take it so literally.

Ok, so .12-.17 is Intake, and .23-.28 is Exhaust, Right?
