arrow DB killer ?

How do you remove the DB killer insert? I removed the snap ring and ran the bike untill pipes were hot and still can't pull out the DB killer insert.

i pulled mine out before i ran them, just removed the ring and pulled hard

Ok I got it out and what a PITA. Love the sound with them out.

I recon u could buy new from a dealer or wreckers. just measure the ID of the pipe and pickup a couple of circlips to suit as well. or post up in the "wanted to buy or sell" forum threads. Somebody will have em laying around..........that isn't a hoarder.............like me!!!

what tool do you guys use to remove "the ring" ?
have "big" proplems with them ... db-inserts are easy, with a little wiggle here and there

I used a ring pliers tool. There inexpensive and work well.
